This is possible thanks to the switch on the side that moves the small steel ball at the base into and out of the opening to control the flow of coffee out of the dripper. Unique switch mechanism

The Hario Switch allows you to control the immersion time, letting you tailor the brewing process to your taste. Lift the switch up to block the flow and let your coffee grounds steep like in a French Press. Once your brew is ready, press the switch down and the coffee flows through the filter paper like your usual V60.

Large capacity

The Hario 03 brews up to 360 ml in one go for a quick cup. To brew for a small crowd, you can try recipes that call for 2-3 pours and result in a larger volume for multiple cups. The silicone rubber base is also compatible with the glass Hario V60 02 dripper if you want a smaller volume.
