1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders and subscriptions placed via our online shop. Our online shop is directed at consumers and business customers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity.
A business customer is a natural or legal person or a legally capable partnership who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or self-employed professional activity.

By listing products or subscriptions in the online shop, we submit a binding offer to conclude a contract. You may initially place products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order.
The contract is concluded when you accept the offer by clicking the order button. You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after the contract is concluded.
If a product becomes unavailable due to seasonal availability or delivery delays, we reserve the right to propose an equivalent substitute product. You may accept the substitute or withdraw from the contract.
3. Contract Language and Storage of Contract Text
The contract language is English.
We store the contract text and send you the order details in text form.
4. Delivery Conditions
Shipping costs may apply in addition to the listed product prices. Details on shipping costs are provided during the checkout process.
Delivery is generally carried out by shipment.
Self-collection from our retail location is possible.
Subscriptions:
Coffee subscriptions are shipped free of charge. Subscription deliveries are dispatched on Saturdays.
5. Payment
5.1 One-Time Purchases
The following payment methods are available:
- Credit card
- PayPal
Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (SPEL), 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland, and PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg.
5.2 Subscriptions
Coffee subscriptions may be paid exclusively by credit card.
Billing is carried out automatically via Stripe Subscriptions in accordance with the selected delivery interval. The credit card will be charged prior to dispatch of each subscription delivery.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that a valid credit card is on file at all times.
6. Retention of Title
Goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
7. Transport Damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, we kindly ask you to report such defects to the carrier immediately and to contact us without delay.
Failure to report damage does not affect your statutory rights, but helps us assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurer.
8. Warranty and Guarantees
Statutory warranty rights apply.
Information on any additional guarantees and their exact conditions can be found with the respective product.
9. Protection of Minors
If an order includes goods subject to age restrictions, we ensure compliance through appropriate age-verification measures. Delivery will only be made after successful age verification and exclusively to the customer.
10. Coffee Subscriptions
10.1 Subject Matter of the Contract
Coffee subscriptions provide for the regular delivery of coffee products. Customers select the number of bags and the delivery interval (weekly, bi-weekly, every third week, or every fourth week).
10.2 Term
The subscription is concluded for an indefinite period.
10.3 Shipping Schedule and Cut-Off Time
Subscription shipments are dispatched on Saturdays.
The cut-off time for cancellations, changes, or pauses is Thursday at 11:59 PM (CET) prior to the scheduled shipment.
10.4 Changes to the Subscription
Customers may change products, quantities, or other subscription parameters up to Thursday at 11:59 PM (CET) prior to shipment.
Changes made after this time will take effect with the next delivery.
10.5 Cancellation by the Customer
The subscription may be cancelled by the customer at any time.
If cancellation occurs after the cut-off time (Thursday 11:59 PM CET), the upcoming shipment will still be dispatched and charged. The cancellation will take effect after that delivery.
10.6 Pause and Reactivation
Customers may pause their subscription and resume it at a later date.
A pause must be submitted by Thursday at 11:59 PM (CET) to apply to the next scheduled delivery.
10.7 Cancellation by the Provider
We reserve the right to cancel a subscription at any time with reasonable prior notice by email.
We further reserve the right to terminate a subscription with immediate effect for good cause, in particular if:
- payment cannot be successfully processed despite repeated attempts,
- false or misleading information has been provided,
- there is suspected misuse, abuse, or fraudulent behavior,
- continued fulfillment of the subscription is unreasonable due to operational or legal reasons.
In the event of cancellation by us, any amounts already paid for deliveries not yet shipped will be refunded.
10.8 Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions insofar as this is necessary due to changes in law, regulatory requirements, technical developments, operational processes, or business practices.
Customers with an active subscription will be informed of any material changes in advance by email.
The updated terms shall be deemed accepted unless the customer objects within a reasonable period specified in the notification. In the event of objection, the customer may cancel the subscription with effect from the date the changes would have applied.
10.9 Payment Processing and Failed Payments
Payment is processed automatically prior to each shipment.
If a payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the subscription until payment is successfully completed. There is no entitlement to retroactive delivery for suspended shipments.
10.10 Product Availability
If a product included in a subscription is temporarily unavailable, we reserve the right to offer an equivalent substitute or to suspend the delivery. Customers will be informed accordingly.
11. Severability Clause
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is or becomes wholly or partially invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
In place of the invalid or unenforceable provision, a valid and enforceable provision shall apply that most closely reflects the economic intent and purpose of the original provision.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions and all contractual relationships between us and the customer shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For business customers, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contractual relationships shall be Germany.
For consumers, statutory jurisdiction rules apply.
