Our first Geisha comes from Finca El Rodeo, where quality, care, and sustainable farming practices are central to daily work. The Reyes family applies great precision and experience to bring out the full potential of this remarkable variety.
In the cup, the specialty coffee is elegant and complex, with floral notes, refined sweetness, and a vibrant, clean structure. El Rodeo Gesha is especially suited for filter brewing methods that highlight its aromatic depth and finesse.

Reyes Family , Hacienda El Rodeo
The Reyes family’s path into coffee is quite unusual compared to many coffee farming families in Colombia. Cristian Reyes’s first professional encounter with coffee was as a barista while studying in England. When his family bought an abandoned estate in 2010, he convinced his parents to use the land for coffee cultivation. Thus, Hacienda El Rodeo was founded in 2011. Their goal: to produce specialty coffee and build a sustainable business based on direct trade.

About El Rodeo Gesha

The Geisha or Gesha variety is known for its intense aroma and exceptional clarity. Originally from Ethiopia, it is now considered one of the most sought-after and prestigious coffee varieties in the world.
This Geisha undergoes a double fermentation process lasting 36 hours in total. First, the whole coffee cherries ferment. After the fruit pulp is removed, the beans ferment a second time. The coffee is then dried for 15 days under controlled conditions.
This careful process enhances aromatic complexity and results in a clean, layered cup with an elegant structure.
