Warawul Is Crossing the Baltic: Meet Our New Partner, Kavos Reikalai
Starting in September, five Warawul coffees will be on the menu at Kavos Reikalai, a two-café multiroaster shop in Vilnius, Lithuania. Here's who they are and what we've sent them.
Kavos Reikalai run two cafés in Vilnius plus a webshop dedicated to coffee roasted in Lithuania and abroad. They already carry beans from notable European roasters like Coffee Collective and NOMAD. That's good company to be in, and it told us a lot about their standards before we'd even stepped foot in their café.
They've built the kind of following that comes from actually caring about what's in the cup. And that made us excited to want to work with them. We visited in June 2025 to drop off some samples and now it's official: starting in September 2026, a selection of Warawul coffees will join that lineup on their shelves and on their menu.
What's landing in Vilnius this September
Kavos Reikalai will be offering five coffees including an espresso option and multiple coffees for filter. All single origin coffee sourced through long-term relationships with coffee producers.
- Bella Vista — our Honey Pink Bourbon from José del Mar Ordoñez's farm on the outer edge of San Agustín, Huila, Colombia, the last farm before the land climbs into the high mountains. Bergamot up front, dried apricot through the middle, a soft toffee finish. Our second year buying this coffee from José del Mar and Finca Bella Vista via the producer group monKaaba.
- Lensa Gari — a natural-processed coffee from the Guji zone in Ethiopia, and one of our own team's favorites from this year's menu. Floral aroma, with notes of berries and chocolate.
- Cascaritas Classic — the more classic, everyday expression from the same producer behind our limited Cascaritas microlots. A comforting cup with orange notes complemented by vanilla and caramel sweetness.
- Gitesi Peaberry — a peaberry lot from the Gitesi Coffee Washing Station in Rwanda, where more than 100 employees process cherries delivered by over 1,800 neighbouring smallholder farmers. Peaberries are naturally occurring single-seed beans, and they round and concentrate in the roast in a way that's worth seeking out.
- Angostura Espresso — one of our three espresso roasts, dialled in on the belief that a good espresso doesn't have to be dark or heavy-handed to be a good espresso. Balanced and clear rather than blunt.
Find them in Vilnius
Kavos Reikalai pour and sell across their two Vilnius cafés and their webshop. If you're nearby, that's where to look for Warawul bags starting in September, alongside their existing selection of roasters like Coffee Collective and NOMAD. And if you're ever in Berlin, the reverse is true: our own café in Neukölln pours the same lineup, alongside the rest of our current menu.
We'll keep adding partners like this as we find cafés that care the way Kavos Reikalai clearly does. If you run a café or shop and think our coffee belongs on your bar, get in touch — we're always happy to pack a sample box and see where it goes.
