New takeaway cups at our Berlin café

Part of our mission at Warawul is to connect you with the producers of the coffee in your cup. That’s why we included a cool new feature on our takeaway cups.

From conversations with people at our coffee bar in Berlin or at markets and events, we know that many of you care deeply about the source of the things you consume. And that with coffee specifically, you value sustainability and equitable supply chains.

But we also know that when you order a coffee to go, you don't always have time to stay and talk about the coffee and its origins.

    Introducing our new takeaway cup

Scan the QR code to learn where your coffee comes from and who produced it

We designed the cup with a QR code that takes you to a page on our website https://warawul.coffee/en/in-your-cup. Our barista Zoulkanine updates this page daily to reflect the coffees we are serving for espresso and for batch brew.

On this page, you’ll find the name of the producer of the coffee you’re currently enjoying, as well as the variety, roast level, and tasting notes. You can also explore the rest of the website to learn more about the coffee, the producers and their farms. There, you’ll also see how long we’ve been working with the producers and how much we paid them for their green coffee.

    Did you love the coffee?

Buy directly through our website and have your new favorite coffee delivered straight to your home or office. Or now that you know the name of the coffee, you can pick up a bag on your next visit to the Warawul coffee bar.

For those who enjoy spending time in our café, we’re always available to answer any questions about the coffees and the producers or to tell you more about how we met them. We also try to regularly organize events where you can hear directly from the producers themselves.
