The bad news for Cascaritas lovers is that our stock of Hidardo’s coffee is almost finished. The good news is that the next harvest in Honduras is currently underway. Now is the time to stock up on Cascaritas Espresso and Cascaritas Classic to bridge the gap until the fresh harvest arrives in Berlin in mid-summer 2025.

Spotlight: CAFESMO

Hidardo Hernández is one of those inspiring coffee producers who have a vision beyond their own individual success. Hidardo started CAFESMO so that his neighbors – who like him are also generational smallholder farmers – could also have access to the resources and the international markets that would make coffee production a sustainable pursuit. Hidardo shares part of that story in this video.

Cascaritas Espresso was one of our best sellers in 2024. We love the tangy apricot note that comes from a short extraction. This short video goes behind the scenes on the making of this coffee at Hidardo’s family farm in Honduras.

Behind the Coffee: Cascaritas Classic

This coffee is what I recommend most for lovers of bold filter coffee. Deep citrus notes are complemented by a sweet sugarcane finish. Hidardo tells us more about this coffee in this video.
