Last Chance: Las Juntas from Diever Galindez
We have good and bittersweet news for all lovers of fruity specialty coffees: We’ve just roasted our final batch of the Pink Bourbon Las Juntas. And the remaining kilos are now packed up in 250 bags, available both in-store and online. Once these are gone, that’s it until Diever’s next harvest arrives from Colombia in spring 2026.
Las Juntas: a really special Pink Bourbon from Huila, Colombia
Las Juntas comes from the small farm Finca Las Juntas in the highlands of Huila, Colombia. Diever Galindez and his wife Estela Guzman cultivate around 3 hectares of land at an altitude of about 1,800 masl. For years, they sold their coffee on the conventional market, anonymously and for low pay. After joining the monKaaba project, they gained access to better prices and, for the first time, were able to bring their own microlots to the specialty coffee market under their own names.
